You would not be remiss to say that this would be a floating dumpster fire if David were the one running it. By the latter’s own admission, he’s a product development specialist, and doesn’t have the focus to manage a business. That’s where Tom comes in. A long time friend and collaborator of Dave’s, he was the first to notice when his friend’s “hobby” was starting to look more like a company’s R&D department than just a simple unemployment project. 

Tom is debatably the most experienced member of Three Pines Ventures. Graduating from the University of Michigan in 2013, and getting his MBA from the Ross School of Business in 2015. Tom joined the Chartis Group where he has risen from an Associate Consultant to an Associate Principal as of 2022. 

“Where is Tom?” is perhaps the most viable question out there when it comes to pinpointing the later. Though based in the Detroit area, Tom has a sense of wanderlust that never keeps him in the same place for more than a week at a time. When he is staying in one place he can be found cooking and indulging in Italian Wines.
